As a young girl, I remember sitting down in my auntie’s lap to get my hair combed for the week. The smell of Blue Magic and reruns of The Parkers were fervent in my mind when coming up with this idea. As an adult (with access to adult money), I have my choosing of what hairstyle I want to get and it usually falls within the categories in this art piece.
